Recently I talked with Marcel Koopmans, and he told me that the one and only true backup method (well he might have used different wording :-) ) is to use bacula since you can easily do tape-like backups. Which is or might be better then my current rsnapshot setup.

So I decided to give it a proper try again and fiddled with some remote clients to get it going.

Lets wait and see how the next few days will workout for it, and how the tapes are being seen after being written to (filebackend).
