So, i didn’t sit still the last few days. After getting some "tips" to use a different management tool for my email enviroment, i started working on a migration plan. I moved from ISPWorks to Postfix Admin (hi Micha, thanks for writing this tool!). I redid some infrastructure to make it happen. At first i had the idea to let sasl authenticate directly to the SQL db carrying all the required information , but md5 and sasl is a bit difficult. So sasl authenticates towards my imap server now, which authenticates to SQL / MD5. With that it is possible to use md5 hashed passwords instead of plaintekst passwords.

Today i was finally able to migrate the entire email mgmt db from the ISPWorks db to the Postfix-Admin db. It was really simple to do the final migration, but i didn’t know what to expect prior the movements.

My "Customers" are now able to administrate their own domains without requireing (?? must be badly written) my help at all. I can only reset passwords now and not read them anymore.

Right now i will develop some plugins specially for my own hosting enviroment to make it easier to administrate different settings as well (dns for example). That will all take some time but it will be there eventually.
