As people can read on Tienervaders.org i recently got a reply from D66. I wrote them to ask a headsup for (teen) fathers. We (Tienervaders.org) think that there is not enough attention to the situation regarding teen fathers. They do not have any places they can go to, no places where they can get information on how things should be handled etc. No ‘classes’ which can show you how some things are done for little children, while that information is there for (teen)mothers.

They stated that it was a great idea to start Tienervaders.org and that they do think that fathers do not get enough attention and support. They even agreed that it is a though situation when things go wrong. Mothers should help and otherwise forced to help to get the best for the little kid.

I really find it great that there as was a reply and that there was some consideration about it. I hope we (all teenfathers) can see a much brighter future.

Today i updated my Postfix - MySQL - SASL - Courier Imap "The Guide" a bit. It now includes live examples from my own configurations and some explaination about how to install some stuff. I will need to write up the rest as well.

If the document is correctly written you should be able to install it all within 2 days ( i did it within 2 days and installed the OS as well within that time).

Comments? Just poke me on remko@

Last weekend my little cousin Thomas spent the weekend at my place. I needed to get used to it the first hour or so, but the moment Thomas saw me, he was laughing and didn’t stop for the entire weekend. He learned a new word recently "papa" and he kept saying that for the entire weekend :)

I did him in the Tub 3 times (everyday) and instead of Thomas going alone he also got me wet as well, *splash splash* he enjoyed really much, and i did even more. When i see the fun i have with Thomas, ofcourse my mind goes to Luca in the same second. I cannot put him in the tub which makes me sad.

I also made sure Thomas had enough food and we walked (yes he is able to walk) for ‘miles’. When he was in his ‘car’ he fel asleep almost instantly, that made me feel that he trusts me :). Later in the weekend i was working on my laptop, and Thomas joined me, he ‘asked’ whether i could lift him on top of my legs and i did, so we both worked on the laptop :)

Ofcourse my parents (being grandma and grandpa) also had fun with Thomas, we liked this weekend very much, we missed the fun you can have with a little kid, giving him love, taking care of him, making sure everything is alright for him.

We made some pictures which i will place below (click on read more :))

Thomas: Hope to see you soon my lovely cousin! I love you as well!!

Yesterday and today i have been working on lists.elvandar.org.

It got kicked out. Why? Since it became too huge, (although it served ~10.000 unique users in it’s best days) regarding diskspace.
The bandwith etc wasn’t that much of a problem, but the diskspace became a issue, it made the machine slower and slower so i took it offline. The currenlty hosted mailinglists will continue to work, although the webinterface is broken as of yesterday (unreachable for anyone).

Just a announcement :)

Today i was at Bibiche’s place to fix the network over there. Since Bibiche wasn’t at home and her mother and the parents of the mother were there i had a little chat with them. I really like the grandparents of Bibiche, they are always nice to me and i chatted up with the mother of Bibiche a bit.

After the little chat i decided to move upstairs and fix the network, i replaced the router with a switched hub and put the router downstairs so that we were able to create connectivity for all machines.Well i did that and upgraded their computers a bit.

The grandma of Bibiche said to me that she liked the picture that Bibiche and i made while we were in the shop of my brother. And indeed, that is a great picture. We have a couple of them which i will try to place soon.

I talked with her grandpa for a while and we enjoyed the computer and stuff around it.

Finally i was done and head home, picking up bibiche around 0130 on Centraal Station and brought her home around 0200.

BFor the first time ever, Bibiche and i went skating today. For Bibiche it was a long time ago that she skated. And for me it was a month ago that i skated last.

We went to the city to see my mother and after that we went to my brother which made a picture of us which i will probably put down later. After that we ate a bit in the city and returned towards home. The 20km that we skated were giving us so much joy that we agreed upon doing that more. So, in the near future Bibiche and i will be skating again. Watch out because here we come!

Yesterday my nephew was again in the house, we were asked to watch for him untill his mother returned home. So my dad and i watched him and i walked through the house with him. Thomas seemed to enjoy it all, we had great fun laughing etc. And when i drove him home in the chair we had for Luca (my own kid) he fell asleep almost instantly. Thomas, you are such a cute and lovely kid!

If you press on the readmore button you can see a picture of me and Thomas drinking from our bottles, all that walking made us thirsty :)
