Well, another journey today. After fixing up FreeBSD-Doc-NL yesterday (i think the reviewed documents are ready for import now, so they are being reviewed by FreeBSD itself :-)).

Today i agreed with my friends of DSInet.org (where i am a reporter for news articles etc) to place a new server in Telecity2 Amsterdam. So i picked up my friend Casper at 12.30 at his place (near Utrecht) and we drove towards Amsterdam, we opened up the window and enjoyed the ride, which took about 35 minutes to get near Amsterdam. Sad part that we didn’t follow the routing instructions so we drove around for abit and found numberous building’s of my boss. After driving around a little we found an old office off my boss. Casper recognized it and we drove past it since Telecity 2 is behind that building.

We signed in at Telecity2 and walked to our computerroom, there we placed a new server for DSINet.org which should replace our old server in the near future. After we did that we drove home again, i dropped Casper back at his home and i went on to Rotterdam again.

When i arrived there my best buddy Rik was there so we chatted up a little and went to the chinese buying us some food. Rik is going with my on holiday so we chatted a bit about that and Rik continued going home.

All with all a ‘long’ day , but it was great meeting Casper today, and placing the server in Telecity2, since i never was there before :-).

Oh and one more thing, it was quite hot today, we noticed that on our way towards the facility, and on our way back when we got struck by warmth (since inside the facility it was cold :-) ). It’s still nearly 30 degrees here, but we are making progress in lowering that temperature to human respected temperatures ;-).

So much for today!
