While i was just eating (yeh yeh i eat). I had put on some TV. The channel CNN had some nice news. A privatly financed project was able to build a spacecraft in three years. People think that in some years (around five) it perhaps might be possible to buy a spaceholiday, so you can have a little holiday in space. Perhaps i need to inform my boss already that i will be in space in 2010… 

Or perhaps i can better wait until it’s somewhat cheaper, prices of nearly 100.000dollars each where mentioned, and i can only afford that with sponsoring of my boss( does he actually read this? )

Today (Sunday) I went to my uncle (Bart) in Tilburg. We hadn’t been there for ages, and now we had the time to go along with my other uncle (Aad ). Got up early, and went to Aad. There we pickede up Aad, Janette, Saskia, Stefan and ofcourse my little nephew Thomas. 

So we went to Tilburg and arrived there around 12.00hours. We greeted my uncle and my little cousine Sabine, which we did not see for a long period of time. From the moment we arrived it was very relaxing and just great. We talked, played football, had a chat with his parents who stopped by. And i played with Thomas again, singing, changing his diaper twice. And that all went great. During lunchtime i gave Thomas his food, he loved it :-).

After that all we had dinner and enjoyed our food.

To Bart and Sabine, it was a great day, hope to see you again.

To Thomas, We will see eachother soon again, since i love playing with you, and even changing your diapers

These are the days to nicely end your weekend! 

I Also agreed going to my uncle again tommorrow (Aad ) , to fix the computer over there, and ofcourse see Thomas again.

I never watch football, but only when the dutch team plays i activly watch. What  a failure tonight. We were ahead in score and eventually lost. The stuff i saw was rather good, but the mistakes the dutch team made were just bad. We can do better. So all we can do now is pray that germany makes a mistake so that we can go to the semi finals. But i doubt we will reach that.

Oh and tommorrow i will be going to "Tilburg" lets see what that city has to offer me, perhaps i forget the failure of our footballers today.

Come on Holland we can do it:)

It’s been a few days since i last updated the log and processed updates.

Why? Well, i was busy building something.. Who you? Yes me.

Well what did you build?  I builded my package for the SR71A Blackbird plane.

While shopping recently i saw the package of a SR71A Blackbird, and i was sold. So i decided to buy the package and build it whenever i had the time. So the past few days i spent working on it. And it seems ready now. The window’s are open, the wheels are placed and the unmanned reconaissance plane is placed on his holder.  The only thing i need to do now is place the stickers on it. And then make a picture so you can enjoy the plane as well. I even created space for it. So it’s now above my computerscreens showing itself off.

Today Bol.COM delivered some new cd’s which i bought (doh). They are “Bruce Springsteen - The Rising”,”Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication” and “Pearl Jam - Ten”.

This makes my cd collection somewhat bigger, perhaps i will compile al list of them in the near feature. Oh and the cd’s were on offer at Bol.COM, so check them out if you want to have some cheap (but good quality) cd’s

At the concert of Marco Borsato, i saw a very sad story about a young girl who lost her father. He was shot and died. This things should not happen on this planet. Just returned (0.39 hours on Tuesday 15 June 2004) from the concert, and this is what i have to say about it:

Today it was THE day, Marco Borsato came to The Kuip. And i had tickets! I been there :-). It was great fun, it kicked ass and was really great

The show started with the all stars band, lead by Edwin Evers (a radio guy). Lee Towers, Lois Lane, Trijntje, Do, they were all there, Even Boris of IDOLS2 NL was there.

Then Marco came up, really fantastic, you have to see it to believe it.

Also Bibiche had to work, so visited her, and when the concert was sadly enough over, i stopped by again, to tell her that i was going home. I think she had to work a long time yet, and suppose she will be ready at 01.00hours.

There were a lot of songs that i sang with, totally lost my voice. And i will give you an expression of that later today when i uploaded my photo’s to this website.

I would like to thank Marco ! His band! His friends {the other artists} my mum Hetty, my aunt Janette, my brother Martijn, my brothers’friend Sander, my brothers girlfriend Lauren, my friend Bibiche, although i did see her very little today , and the crowd that were there and made a tremendous evening

Waarom is dit document geschreven?

Ik heb een tijdje de mailing list van SPF gevolgd ,en vond het concept erg interessant. Net zoals overige ‘bekendere’ personages op internet heb ik redelijk last van spam. Een redelijk groot deel van mijn email is achteraf spam. Dit is een probleem dat alleen maar groter zal worden indien er niets tegen gedaan wordt. Vandaar dat ik dacht voor DSINet.org hier een artikel over te schrijven.  Het bevind zich nog in ontwikkel fase, maar zal hier ter preview worden aangeboden, waarbij critische lezers commentaar kunnen en mogen geven. Ik heb onlangs ook e.e.a aan discussies gelezen dat er concept fouten in SPF zitten. Helaas ben ik er nog niet achter waar dat precies op gebaseerd is. Voel je vrij om me hierover te informeren zodat ik dit documentje kan uitbreiden met die informatie.

SPF staat voor Sender Policy Framework. Dit houd in dat elke afzender vanaf het juiste domain moet komen. Zo is het mogelijk om een deel van de hedendaagse spam tegen te gaan.
Caller-ID gaat emailheaders na, om te kijken of bijvoorbeeld een email van PayPal inderdaad van PayPal komt.

Why did we write this document?

On many many mailinglists that I am on, I read topics about machine’s that might be hacked, or in any other way not reliable anymore. People give advise, and although they do their best to help, it’s not always the best solution.

I had a SANS class (Incident Handling) which supports my opinion in how to act upon a potentially abused machine. The teacher there was Arrigo Triulzi, a great italian guy who is a IDS expert.

I will not retell their story, but if you wish to learn the information as best as I did then checkout this website. It will give you courses overview etc.

Now back to the original intention of this file; I want to create a clear and easy document which one could follow when a machine is not trusted anymore.

One more note: This document is mostly looking towards an unix environment. It might also be appliable for a Windows or other OS environments, but I am not sure. I don’t know enough about those to make correct assumptions for that. If you can do that, please contact me and I will update the documentation
